Question For gamers...XBOX question

I dunno know if guys on here that knowledgeable about this on here but I have a question about a problem I'm having about my xbox but this is driving me crazy. Whn I put a game into my xbox, it gives me an error message that says that the disk is in correct. I've taken out the disk and cleaned as it suggested and it still doesn't play it; the disk is not scratched up or anything either. Before it started not playing completely, it read "EVO" with a x below it and it would do like a system check before it started up and turn the butons green. But when the "EVO" thing showed up, the button would turn amber and not the usual green. Could anyone be so graciuos and help me out?? By the way, it's a "mod version" with the big hdd ($600).

Hi there, are you talking about the Original XBOX or Xbox 360?

Microsoft have several solutions at the following link: Xbox: You receive a "Your Xbox can't recognize this disk" error message while a game disc, a CD, or a DVD is loading Hope this helps

hey man im a pretty big modder for xbox, it sounds to me like your laser may be damaged or broken, if this is the case you will probably need to get a new one, their not to expensive, around $50 AU I think (from Ebay)
BTW did you say NO games will boot or jsut that one?
