Ok well I remembered i bought this game a while ago and never played it, due to some previous technical reasons that didn't arise this time around. But anyway i've installed the game and try to play, once i get to the start of the campaign allt he graphics are blurred and everything is multiplied (such as if you move your mouse it leaves a trail of the sprite). The only clear picture is the main character.
I have googled the problem trying many different searches and found nothing, and tried every graphic related FAQ on their site and a few others and went through the steps for those issues to see if it would fix it.
Obviously i wouldn't be here if it had.
I've also tried reinstalling, and there is no patches to update it with. I have also just updated my 2900xt today to the latest CCC (v7.10).

Hello Pyrokar,
Does this problem happen with any other game? If that is the only game you are having problems with, then the best way I can describe that problem is...the game doesn't like your system I have had a number of games that just will not work with my system even after full format/reinstall of Windows and I meet all the requirements of the game. Most of the time it is a video card issue. The company will usually release a list of compatible video cards. If your video card isn't on that list, they will not offer you support.Considering what you have tried already, which is about the extent of what you can do, it is probably just some bug in the game that has some kind of issue with your hardware. Now if you had this same problem with other games or 3d software, then there may be something to think about. The last thing I'd consider is when the game came out and what operating system you are using now. If it was designed for Windows 98 and you are using XP, or designed for XP and you are using Vista, then you can try running the game in compatibility mode. To do that navigate to the folder that the game is installed in then right click on the executable file the game runs on, then find the advanced option that lets you choose a compatibility mode (it will be in different spots depending on OS). Run it in the compatibility mode that the game was designed for (basically the most recent OS that is listed on the system requirements of the game). Other things to try (that I doubt will make a difference, but it's worth a shot and won't hurt anything) would be to run chkdsk /r /f, defrag the machine, and run a registry cleaner like CCleaner and/or Registry Mechanic. If you need help with these options, let me know. Hope that helps!

it was made in 2004 and i've already tried the compatibility mode thing anyway. This is the first game i've had issues like this with (if i've ever had them would have been on older computer anyway). I recently reformatted (3 days ago) so obviously i can't go much further than that, so yes i believe it is my 2900xt
. But it seems im the only one whose had this problem according to google, but earlier i had a problem when downloading saying data2.cab could not be found. This is a 'big bytes' game which if you dont know is like some el'cheapo company that releases games a few years later for like $10-20. So i'm guessing they're behind all this. No more big bytes game, this is the first one of their products i've bought too. Go with the original cases guys.
