I dont think any game will kill the average computer, because oblivion was set out to be great graphics, and from what i've seen on high it's fairly normal, and it isnt a computer killer, i just guess with old pc's you'll struggle a bit. Just remember i dont know if crysis does but some other fps i was reading up, has a completely different engine or something for dx10 making it basically whole new graphics.

maybe crysis is the same, or are you running dx10... or doesnt 7900 gs run dx10, tbh i dont know :P

7900 does not run DX10.

In order to run DX10 you need windoes vista, and a DX10 card.

For Nvidia users thats 8 series and up.

For the time being only 8 series.

Guys, to fully appreciate Crysis...play it in Vista with a widescreen monitor, on max detail

DX10 cards are anything from the 8series of Geforce and above from nvidia
and any x2000 series raedon and above from ATI/AMD

I play it on my 7800 at around 40fps, low - med (physics to high).
