hi this is my first post on here so yea hi everyone! i m currently having a really hard time to get my system (windows xp, amd athalon 64 2.0ghz i believe, 1 gig ddr ram and 160 hard drive.) to reinstall the game warrock. well here is what happened. one day i started (tried) to play warrock and i get this -> http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...124/wrprob.jpg so yea i decided to remove and reinstall the game in the the control panel - add/remove program. when i tried to remove the game i get this -> http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...rprob.2JPG.jpg and i have tried restarting my computer to make sure i m not running the game or anything. so then i got help from a couple guys on fourm.warrock.net which wasnt quite helpful (sorry to say that but i know they tried). i was told to go into safe mode which i did and i get the error. someone told me to compeletly remove the game file on my harddrive and delete all the files and in my registry (which i did). now when i poped the cd in and press the install button i get the same error. so yea i was told to use programs to "hunt" the files but they dont help me to search for the file......all they do is just delete the temp files and cookies,etc. so i hope someone on here could help me. once agian here are some links that might help clear things up. edit* i was told that i need to reformat my computer, but i just want to make sure if there are any other way than reformatting my computer.

Hi have you tried to uninstall it in safe mode to see if that will work? when you turn the PC on tap the f8 key a few times and select start in safe mode then one it boots try uninstall it.

yes i have tried to go into safe mode and uninstallin it. but i still get the same error. =)

Have you tried deleting the program folder and then try to reinstall?

If all else fails delete the program folder and go in to the windows registry and delete all entries refering to warrock reboot the PC and try the install again.
