Hi Guys,

I have just bought Battlefield 1942 and am having a few probs

When playing the game it is really slow and i just get wiped out by the enemy. it takes so long to move the cursor or hear whats going on ?

Ive got call of duty 1&2 and also Fifa 07 which work perfect with no probs

Anyone got ne idea whats going on?

Have you tried lowering the resolution and graphic detail, turn off/down anti aliasing etc.

ok ive lowered all i can and its still so slow, i know i havent got the best graphics card but it works fine with other games?
is there anything else i can do?

I think it's your video card. You have a Radeon 9200se, right? I think the 9200's are a little bit slow to handle the graphics of BF1942. I have a radeon 9550 256mb and play BF2 on low resolution. I cannot crank up the details because it would slow down a lot.

But I also have played BF1942, Beaucse its a larger First person game with vehicles ect ect. You will want to play at low res

I suggest you upgrade your video card if you really want to play BF2 smoothly.

He's talking about Bf1942, not Bf2.
