Question Help - Advent T9408 to play Sims 2?

I am about to buy an Avent T9408 (ADVENT T9408 Desktop PC and TFT Monitor from PC World - Cheap ADVENT Desktop Computers and the latest ADVENT Desktop PC deals.), ideally to play the Sims 2 which I have ordered. I have looked at the requirments for the game but I'm a little apprehensive as to whether this specefic computer will be able to handle the game or not, especially with future expansion packs I plan to buy. Can anyone tell me if this was a good choice for PC? Thanks x

Yup, Sims will be playable BUT;

1) The graphics card could be updated to give you more graphics processing power
2) Personally, I wouldn't buy an Advent PC - is this the top end of your budget?

undoubtedly this will play the sims 2, all while not being to shabby i would have to admit, it doesnt take much, but i would, as hengis said look into updating the graphics card, but considering that the sims 2 will probably not perform all that bad on it, it went quite well on an old 5200 fx, but since its almost been 4 years since the sims 2 and if the gap between 1 and 2 is anything to go by the soms 3 may be announced in a few months, but if you want to keep it cheap now you could get that and get a new video card later, but honestly i would try and get a pc made by a local store, or my no.1 preferance: DIY over getting one of these pcs, and i cant comment on the pc brand as i have no idea what any oem manufacturer is doing at this time

I personally wouldn't touch Advent with a 10ft barge pole...

I do like Dell computers though - a bit more expensive, but defiantely a better package all round.

Check 'em out here...
