You say your playing the game on a computer without a video card?

This "Place" that you move too is it an area high in lights and reflections? Are there many things on the screen at once.

I also looked at some of your error documents (Im no computer genius but im okay )
There is alot of stuff about cannot find video and d3d (Direct 3d) = 0

Im assuming that you either

A)Need to update your directX

B) Your onboard graphics is not compatable with this game, certain places may need direct 3d.

Also it says in one error report, that there is a missing map or peice of map, the part of the map you may be missing might cause your pc to reboot but this is unlikely, normmally programmes just close and not reboot the PC.

!!!ERROR!!!RES 'maps\level_02.map' 'MAP ': 0x0 Invalid resource type
!!!ERROR!!!MAP: 0x0 Section can't found (load 'VID')

Glad if i can help.

wake, it might be an idea to reinstall the game on your computer to see if you can get the map problem fixed.

hi sam, thanks for the reply..yes im playing the game in a pc without a vid card..the place where i move too is just a normal area although theres an opening goin inside the fence.. my direct X in up to date.. so when u said there might be a direct 3d issue.. i configured my OpenGL settings.. from NO.. to yes, low to high.. ect. and saw a big improvement.. but my pc rebooted again..when i was attack by numerous monsters in a narrow pathway.. is this a vid card issue?? this game is not actually high in specs.. recommeded specs is
Pentium III 800 MHz processor
Direct3D compatible 3D graphics card with 32 MB
128 MB RAM
DirectSound compatible sound card
Mouse compatible device

heres mine.. C2duo E6400 2.13
intel D946GZIS
1 Gig RAM
sound card on board
vid card on board.

garhar and sam.. i was thinking of updating my boards drivers.. as suggested by garhar.
should i uninstall the current drivers before installing the updated drivers?? or just install them..

i was also thinking of updating my bios from the updates i got from intel because whenever i boot my pc .. i hear a wierd "POP" sound in the start up before reaching the user log in profiles..

may i have ur comments and recommendations on this?

and intel says Before updating the BIOS on the Intel® Desktop Board, manually record all BIOS settings
that have been changed (from default) so they can be restored after completing the BIOS
update.

how do i record them?
im hoping u could help me on this issue again. thanks and god bless

POP like an electrical switch?

And numerous monsters in a hallway can really take it out on your video card, im assuming that this is a video card issue, most games dont like onboard cards.

I say buy a cheap 3d card, such as a fx5200 and see what goes on. cheers
