Hi i luv to play pc games but now im i little confused.....can u help?

Im trying to fiind out,what is the difference between a PC CD game and a PC DVD game?

Hi austbart, please don't double post.

A DVD requires a DVD-ROM drive in your computer to install the game. And can also store upto 8gb of data.

A CD requires only a standard CD-ROM drive, which is how games have previously come. These can only store 700mb at most.

Obviously as games get bigger, such as STALKER, Supreme Commander, CnC3, etc etc...it's more economical to supply games on DVDs instead of CDs.

But there are still big sized games which come on PC CD like F.E.A.R.

Yeah usally the Biger sized PC CD Games come with 4 to 5 Cd's
