hi, i plan on buying sims 2 for pc but.......i looked at the requirments and it said that i need 2.0 GHz but i only have 1.59 GHz, how can i resolve this problem? If i get the game will it let me play or will it effect my gameplay?

plz help....

it depends. the interesting thing is, i have the box for sims2 and it says 800 mhz for the original, and 1 ghz for the expansion pack. They are talking about Intel Pentium4 procesors. if you have AMD it will be a lower requrement because AMD is better than intel
EDIT>> Well, AMD for the most part beats out older Intel P4s. The AMD XP and AMD64 all outperformed the Pentium 4. The new Core2 Duo outperforms ALL.
