My problem is that my computer crashed recently and ive been trying to recover my things, and i rememberd i dont have my drivers for my graphics card and i went to update. This is were i noticed a change. Ive had Oblivion installed on my pc for a long time now and never had problems with it. So i was playing it at normal resolution and i uped it to only 800x600 and loaded up the game and my pc crashed with no warning. It will only run on resolution 600x480 without crashing, and nothing else. Ive updated my drivers and this is when this happend. So i rolled back my install of my drivers (to were i had none again) and i could change the resolution just fine. But when i put my drivers on again i get the same thing. The driver that i am using is from the NVidia web site. Graphics drivers - GeForce 7 seires - Windows XP/2000, this is the exact driver. Please any help will be great.

You probably:
a) got a corrupted download (it happens)
b) AntiVirus apps can interfere with video-driver installs (disable-temporarily)
c) sometimes you reall need to "clean house" and get rid of all the remnants of prior driver-versions.
unfortunately the app I used to use for free has now gone "pay" --it is only $10.00

Download the lates driver edition for your hardware to an easy-to find location

In all cases -- it's a good idea to go through device mgr/scroll down to video adapters-- select yours/properties/uninstall.

There will be alarms going off/warnings on screen ignore them-- this will uninstall your present drivers.Windows will say reboot/when you do your screen should look very strange... huge Icons etc--due to low-resolution default drives in Windows itself. Just go to the location you saved your new driver files to-- double click it andit should install no problem

Well the thing is ive already uninstalled my card before trying to fix it... thats when i found out it would change with no drivers. I dont really kno of anyware else to get drivers from but i will try Driver Cleaner and re-post.

ive got the program and ive installed, but im not to sure how to use, im embarrassd
because im not to sure wut to do, for some reason it says i have ATI drivers, when there has never been a ATI card in here. And the Nvidia drivers are NForce Chipset, NVIDIA, NVIDIA Stereo, and NVIDIA WDM. What should i do here? Any help with this will be great.

Whatever you do-- don't mess with the chipset drivers....
because it is an NVidia Chipset
The WDM driver is for video-capture
The stereo driver is apparently for stereo-gaming sound

Strange-- you are the sole owner/user here?
Anybody else have access to install stuff?
Maybe because it's a media-center edition it comes
preinstalled ?

yeah ive never messed with this computers hardware, and i got this pc new so i dont kno why they are there, should i uninstall them? What do i do to the nvidia driver?
