Hi ScYthe,

Welcome to The PCHF.

There Might possibly be a memory issue here, could you donwload the memtest from here and run it for about 30-40 minutes on each memory module (remove the others and test one at a time for the best results).
let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the reply

I tried memtest on both my memory modules and annoyingly they both passed with no errors. I also tried playing Prince of Persia with each memory module separate but they both did the same thing . I also noticed that a wile before my pc resets all sounds in the game cause my speakers to make a loud buzzing noise, don’t know if that helps at all.

Could you try this app, install it and imediately check the temperatures, play the game for a while and then check the temperatures again. Post the results for us, this'll hopefully rule out any overheating from the cpu and gpu.

Yeah, I'd say overheating..

On my Nvidia GeForce 7300, it shows the temperature of the computer. x3

Found the problem! I installed the latest drivers for my motherboard and with that was some sound drivers or something I probably shouldn’t have installed but anyway after that the game worked fine but without sound. So I reinstalled my c-media sound card driver and after that the game stopped working again so the there must be a problem with that. The drivers I have for my built in sound card are the newest on the c-media website but they’re from 2004. Do you think I need to buy a sound card for the game to work?

Thanks again for helping me
