Default Wow

Hi guys i'm new to the forum, I came across it because I'm having a massive problem and need help so I can decide wether it will be worth paying for another month of headaches...basically the problem is this ..............

Me and my Boyfriend play WOW (World of warcraft) from the same house, for 2 weeks we were playing when we were connected through BT and had the occaionsional lag prob then we decided to go back with AOL beause BT were messing us about so when conected to WOW via AOL we found the game ran fine on 1 pc yet crappy on the other (2 seperate connections) we swapped the connetions and found that the one that worked fine now was crappy and visa versa.......we now have virgin media/NTL and with 10mg there is absolutly NO problem what-so-ever with the connection itself as it were it downloads at a constant 900kb average and done a line test and that's also fine, when using the internet on its own it never disconects and always fast, but when playing WOW sometimes it can be fine for 2-3 hrs but then the lag spikes are MASSIVE maybe like 3k latecy or more the delay can be more than 10 secs and the lag lasts about 2-3hs and d/c's often during the spikes. they are networked now via a hub, 1 pc maybe lagging massivly yet the pc next to that one be playing WOW fine at a latecy of 25ms, but alot of the time they lag together. we need advice a.s.a.p coz we love wow and want to pay further...we have looked all over and it seems that blizzard are blaming NTL/VM and NTL/VM are blaming blizzard. I amd wondering what advice you might have. I have heard something about port forwarding :-S...oh the other thing I have spoken to a few people via the game that are on NTL/VM they say the game runs fine. Lag is seriously bad on a daily basis now.

PC specs are as follows....

PC ONE
1.7GHZ
32MG graphics card GE-Force MX 440
512 DDR ram

PC TWO
2.8GHZ
ATI 9250 256MG Graphics card
640 DDR ram

Both pc's are well above the minimum and recomended game play requirements.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Welcome to the PCHF. Sorry it's taken so long to reply to your message.

You said that you have seperate connections for each computer?
The first is AOL and what is the second? It seems the second is going to be the cause of the problem...as far as I understand it at any rate.
