Default Almost all games don't start

including faces of war and juiced, i did have trouble getting the sims 2 to work aswell but solved it by updating my direct x, also gta: san andreas works, I also updted my graphics card drivers too. but when i try and start other games they dont even load a menu or anything it just comes up with an error saying it encounterd a problem and needs to close here's the info from it:
AppName: juiced.exe AppVer: 0.0.1.8 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2945 Offset: 000ee7ee



I dont know why it does this but any help would be appreciated.
also if you need any more info i'll be happy to give you it.

IHi sconebo07 welcome to PCHF it looks like the game Juiced has a few patches have you tried them?

run the directx test RUN/dxdiag. some games take allote of mem or ram and requier i min. of 2 ghz cpu.

does updating the bios update the chipset too, because i don't really know how to update chpsets?

i did all the dxdiag tests and its all fine, i can overclock the cpu it to a 3000 if that would help as i have done it before but switched it back to 2500 simply because i didnt really see much performance increase and it might decrease its lifetime.
