Question [Answered] Playing without Installing

Hey guys I was just wondering, is there any way that I can play the games that I have without having to install them more then once. What I'm trying to say is, I want to install a game, but is there a way that after this install I can save the installed files on a portable hard drive and totally delete the game from the pc. After this though if I want to play the game again, I don't want to go through the installation process again, so is there a way that I can just transfer the files back to the C drive, and continue playing where I left off without having to do any installations?

Thanks

Hi platinum...

There are a few games that need to be installed - Oblivion and NFS: Carbon are 2 on the top of my head.

However, I've got a seperate drive for my games drive - and I never have to reinstall any games or anything like that (except a few select ones). If you install them on a portable drive, they will work - and reenter the registry settings on first run.
