Unhappy PC restarting when playing games

Hi all

I am a bit of a WoW player and last night my PC suddenly restarted. When it loaded back up I was given the serious system error message. I logged back into the game but 5 minutes later the same thing happened again and then again and so on.
Im not very good with techincal things so firstly I tried a virus scan which picked up nothing. I then reformatted the PC and reinstalled the game. The same thing happened again. I then installed a different game and the same thing happened with this too.

I have used Registry Mechanic V6 which picked up some problems but hasnt resolved this one.
The error log message I get is:

BCCode : 1000007f BCP1 : 0000000D BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : 00000000
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

Can anyone help as I had no idea what could be causing this or how to resolve it.

Many Thanks in advance

This could be a problem such as your RAM or your power supply going bad. Do you have any minidump files to share? (from C:\Windows\minidump)

Mini021007-02.dmp
Mini021007-03.dmp
Mini021007-04.dmp
Mini021007-05.dmp
Mini021007-06.dmp
Mini021007-07.dmp
Mini021007-08.dmp
Mini021007-09.dmp
Mini021007-10.dmp
Mini021007-11.dmp

This doesnt mean much to me

Its driving me insane as the PC runs fine until I try and run a game

Before we go into analyzing minidump files, let's clear the air a bit.

What motherboard do you have; specifically, which chipset?

Which audio codecs are you using? Realtek?

Hey Guys,

@Gigglebuns - Welcome to PCHF, we have a wonderful staff of technicians here, and I feel certain that we will be able to help you resolve this.

I'm afraid that doing just one scan is not sufficient to rule out a malware infection. Before we start troubleshooting any hardware or registry conflicts, let's make sure that you are running clean. Please carefully follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, following the instructions for both AVG and SpySweeper, and post those two logs along with a HijackThis log, back here.

@Vystral, welcome to PCHF to you as well, please wait on giving further instructions to this user until we are sure the PC is clean. Thanks,

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
