Hey Guys,

@Himashi, thanks for your input.

@GBs, it certainly wouldn't hurt to run Memtest and see if you have any RAM issues. You will need to download the bootable CD version. Then use a program that is capable of burning a bootable CD, Nero works well for this.

Make sure to read and understand the instructions for Memtest prior to running the test. Just let us know if you need more instructinos.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Hi there

I have tried using the recovery console to run CHKDSK. This is what I got.

The volume appears to be in good condtion and was not checked.
Use /p if you want to check the volume anyway.

I will look into doing this memtest and let you know the outcome however if you have any more suggestions in the meantime, please let me know.

Many Thanks

The command is not recognised Type HELP for a list of supported commands.

I tried to type /p to run the check anyway but it wouldnt do it.

Hey GBs,

/p is a sub-command of CHKDSK. It isn't something all by itself.

When you type in the command for CHKDSK, add /p (needs to be a space between CHKDSK and the /).

I would run it just incase, and then let us know the results of the Memtest as well. Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
