I am a very big fan of horse racing and when I recieved the PS2 game: Gallop Racer 2006, I thought this will be great fun!
But then I realized the races are going the "wrong way".

In all the reviews I have read, no one says anthing about the fact that the horses are running in the "wrong" direction!!!
Even when you are supposedly running at American Race Tracks, they are running "counter clockwise".

Does anyone have any ideas or opinion about this???

Are you trying to run this game on a chipped PS2?

Please excuse my ignorance Wolfeymole, but I don't even know what a "chipped PS2" is.
I was given a new PS2 console along with the Gallop Racer Game for christmas.

What exactly do you mean by them going backwards? Are the legs of the horses going backwards or are the tracks in reverse?

I think DrG is saying that the races run in reverse. Not something we're going to fix here tho' .....

Oh no they are not running backwards. There is nothing wrong with the game itself. I just wondered if anyone had an opinion as to why they would make a horse racing game to be used here in The U.S.A. and yet have the horses running like they do in Europe? The opposite way!
Even when the game says the race is running at a Race track in New York, it shows them running "counter clockwise" like they do in Europe.
