Question [Answered] Rip music from PC Game?

Does anyone know if it is possible to rip music from a CD- Rom PC Game. It is not the games own original music, just old western instrumentals played in the background. The game is Outlaws.
If so, how?

Thanks

WOW! That was a great link! Thank you very much. I loved that game and played it for hours and hours. Do you know of any games that might be similiar?
My wife made me sleep on the couch one night because she said I paid more attention to the game than I did her! LOL!

Gallop - most games compress the music into their own little system...
for example - iD (Quake) used .PAK files - these could be opened with a program such as WinRAR and you could remove/replace the files to whatever you liked.

Some other games just used to put the audio tracks on the CD as well as the data...this was a common thing - now it's not done..they just use MP3s now..which uses more processing power and pulls it away from the games...not sure why they've done it this way.
