Hi spkid...how much ram do you currently have? and what video card do you currently use?

Basically, if you dont have a video card that can handle the extram system ram, it will be faster to load up and be ready to play, but no actual game performance will be seen...

I have integrated Intel Graphics card. And 512 mb ram. Also I got a driver update for my Graphics and I have no clue on how to update it.

I really wish it was that simple my friend, although counter strike isn't the most up to date program (I assume you aren't playing source but this applies basically either way) on the side of graphics, so you likely do not need a massively awesome system in the specs department. Perhaps you could give more information to others? I have tried to find a program that would display all of your pc information to you so you could show it to others, like what is your cpu speed (processor type, fsb etc), how much ram do you have already? What graphics card do you have? AGP? PCI? There are a lot of factors that determine your computers ability to 'play games'. Also another factor is (and this is a simple one) while running counter strike. Be sure that no other programs are running in the background other then steam. Things like AIM, winamp, even internet browsers will take away from your computers ability to process that game.

Brad here is a new program that can be used to find system info. It is very popular on the forums at the moment.

spkid...due to the fact that you have an onboard video card - adding more ram will be detrimental to the performance of your CS experience.

A new video card will improve performance...more ram will not.
