Hello all, im looking for some advice on how to correct a problem im having with the 2 games in the title.

PC Spec:

Processor -- Intel Core Duo 6600 2.4GHz
Memory -- 2GB RAM
Display Adapter -- NVidia GeForce 7900 GS
Monitor -- Samsung SyncMaster 997DF

I believe thats all the information that applies to my situation, but im happy to post more if need be.

Problem

From the intro movies, to the menu screen, to the actual gameplay, both above mentioned games are jittery, like a Vsync problem. HOwever the problem doesnt occur when I play BF2. I have the latest driver from nvidia. My friend said that my vsync was off, and that it was an issue of D3D games vs OpenGL games.

I was wondering if anyone else has had issues like this, and might be able to suggest a solution to me, before I go to a comp repair guy.

Well I fixed the problem with F.E.A.R. by reinstalling my monitor drivers, since im using an older monitor with my new PC. I will post if im still having the issue with AOE III, but if I dont post, then the problem is solved.

games are not my area of expertise but let me know how you make out with the other games and if you require more help i will pm one of the tech team that has more knowlege about games
