Default Monitor Blanks Out Every Time I Play A Game.

I dont know how to describe it really. But when I'm playing a pc game e.g. The Sims2 I play for about 5 minutes then my monitor blanks out.. It just goes black and the green light turns orange, but I can still hear the music from the game.

• Ive tried unplugging it from the mains
• Unplugging it from the computer
• and unplugging it from the back of the moitor and plugging it back in

We even bought a new monitor, and the same thing happened. So its nothing to do with the one I currently have. I think its either the game.. or my computer. The only thing I can do is restart my whole computer.

Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

Hey there.

Have you only tried Sims 2?

Hi Chaz,

it's most likely going to be video driver related.

perhaps if you could also test it in another game?
