Default graphical glitches in BF2

my friends computer displays like weird white triangles that stretch into the horizon and i guess a few spots here and there while playing bf2, the video card is not overheating we have checked that, we have tried the nvidia drivers that came on the bf2 disk, the curent 91.31 and previous 84.?? He had a ATI x700 in the agp slot before this, but he says he uninstalled the ati drivers using the windows control panel, before shutting down to install the 6800 GT, the card worked great when i had it(sold it to him and got 7800 GS) any help would be appreciated.

Yes, probably here: http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/bat...d=m-1-29275403

It doesn't look like the mainstream games forum seems to know what this is either...

hehe thats my post as well and I also posted this on totalbf2 as well. On the totalbf2 forums one guy said that he had the same exact problem and updated his bios and it fixed it, my friend who is having this problem hasnt done this yet, he is using the original bios for his mobo the ASUS K8V SE delux. Also I should include that he is using a pathetic cheapo 480w PSU that looks tiny even for being in a mid-tower case, and he also has his hard drive hooked up to the same 12v rail that the 6800 GT is on. So it most likely looks like its the PSU?!?!

Start with the bios update before you spend out replacing, what is actually, a fairly powerful PSU.

BTW - I play BF2 A LOT! - look out for me: [PCHF]Hengis
