.Now, it may be that you have corrupted something, before going any further with troubleshooting the vid card, can you please run the sfc utility. Start, Run, type in sfc /scannow (exactly as shown) make sure your OS cd is in the drive. This will search for and replace any missing or damaged system files. Then it may be worthwhile cleaning the registry, then uninstalling and reinstalling the video card with the older drivers as asa suggested.
