Default [Resolved] Cutscenes in certain games...

Hi. This is my first post and recently on Battlefield 1942 and Need For Speed Most Wanted the movies are really laggy. On Battlefield 1942 the EA and DICE movie takes 20 minutes to pass :sleepy1:! And on Need For Speed Most Wanted the intro movie is jerky and the movies in the career mode. This is really making the games unplayable as i cannot be bothered waiting along time :computer_ I dont see the need to post my specs as this has only happened recently.
Please try to help me before i have to format my pc

Thanks

Cowburn

Hi there and welcome to PCHF...

You may want to update you graphics card to the latest version OR play around with older versions (this does actually help!) here: www.guru3d.com

In the mean time - lets get you playing the excellent BF1942 again...

Let's remove the intro movies altogether..

To access the exe command line:
Right click on desktop BF 1942 shortcut icon>properties>shortcut tab>
The command is placed in the target line.

Just type in +restart 1 at the end of your exe command line

Ex. "C:\Games\BF1942.exe" +restart 1 (please note that there is a space between .exe" and +restart)
