I just read the reviews on this and apparently this is the original Doom games all wrapped in a nice package,
This leads me to wonder what kind of PC you are running this on.
Is it an older Dos machine? Are you running a newwer machine with XP on it? Are you running through a dos emulator like DOSBOX.
Even if they updated the games to run on a newer operating system, I can't see this game being very demanding on even an out of date computer.
Since you are a fan of Doom and own the collectors pack I recommend trying the JDoom engine, if you have a newer PC (I recommend a 733MHz pentium or higher and a decent videocard). This might also solve your problem while making the visual experience (and mouse control...yes mouse control) a lot more enjoyable.
You can also download "packs" for the 3D objects, otherwise everything will be displayed as their original 2D bitmap. This engine is seriously impressive and it will make Doom look more impressive than the original Half Life at full tilt.
You can find the JDoom engine and all support
here.
Then copy the .wad files to the proper locations...sorry it's been a loooong time since i fired this one up so I'll come back and help if needed but otherwise give her a try!
