wht kind of cleanup apps?

Any app with features like this one for instance:

When you play your games, make sure that you go into the "Controls/Options" section straight away, before you load a save game or start a new game.

On some games, when you are playing the game you can press the ESC key and go to the options menu. Any settings that you change in there will normally only last until you exit the game. When you go back in the settings normally reset to the default settings.

So you have to change the settings before you actually begin playing, then save them and then launch either your saved game or new game.

Does this program actually delete your installed programs?

If you make custom cleaning rules then you can let it delete anything you want.

But if you just leave to the deafult settings then it doesnt delete the programs?

No , then it shouldn't do that , unless its a really bad app....maybe a cleaning tool from windows would do that...like deleting linux..
