Hi there,

I bought san andreas recently and I'm having difficulties in
installing it - I 've tried installing it for 3 times. The same error
msg re-occurs at abt 20% installation completion everytime i tried to
install it. The error msg says -

Feature Transfer Error
Feature :Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas Game Data
Component : Audio
File : D:\data2.cab
Error : Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Sounds like either the GTA CD is dirty/scratched or there might be a problem with your CD drive.

Take the cd out and clean it, put it back in and see whether it works.

If it doesn't then how many CD drives do you have connected to your machine.
If you have more than one then disconnect one and try turn your machine on with only one CD-ROM drive. Then try to install the game.

Hi, the exact same thing has happened to me!
I get that error as well and I can't install my San Andreas.

What can I do?

I have cleaned my CD!
My DVD Drive is perfect never let me down!
