Cooka I will give you some advice.

Firstly I would put her back to stock.

Then run a stress test software for 24 hours at least to check this system. This is one of the rules before you consider overclocking. You need to check system is stable and look for any heating issues etc.

I also advise you to fit better cooling when you are going to then overclock becasue if you dont you will fry your Processor this also goes for overclocking a graphics card, always fit better cooling before overclocking.

That is my advice, you will kill your CPU if you do not get better cooling ASAP.

Your system is not stable.

JB.

LoneWolf agrees: I wouldn't dream of overclocking a machine that still has the stock heatsink fan combination.

ok well instead of spending money on a leet cpu cooler, you can either get this really cheap air cooler,

Newegg.com - XIGMATEK HDT-D1264 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

or you can get a $70 dual core cpu that will overclock very nicely over 3.5 ghz+ no probs, if you are good you can get 4ghz out of it ^_^

Newegg.com - Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

anyway i dont reccomend either because your temps are fine ESPECIALLY for a pentium 4.... that chip could prolly take 100C and not die

there are obvious flaws to getting that cpu like motherboard compatibility and your desire to get it and also you dont need it prolly, just pointing out that there is one and its great for overclocking

on the bright side that cpu heatsink is only $22 at newegg.com

lol by the way this is just what i think, you do not have to takemy advice at all... i just have experience overclocking a pentium D 945 from 3.4ghz to 5.1 ghz on air... it was 70C idle and the chip still works. i really think you are ok if your chip doesnt go above 60C load

EDITED: Keep all help in the thread do not ask for members to PM you to request help.
