Answered: Need some advice on OC CPU.

I would like to Overclock my CPU but the option to OverClock is missing in my Bios. Maybe my Bios do not allow Overclocking. I basically want to do it for the experience. Is there any other way I can do this?

My Processor is AMD Athlon X2 5200+ 2.7 Ghz.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi toyuser,

What is the make and model of your PC? Some manufacturers lock the BIOS so that customers can't cause damage to components.

It's a Dell 521. Sorry, did not notice it was not in my pc link.

Yeah I'm pretty sure, dell lock overclocking options in the BIOS so you won't be able to overclock that one I'm afraid.
