Cool Question on Overclocking utilities

Hey guys, when I use overclocking utilities, such as abit uguru and nTune, are the overclocking effects only active when these programs are running? In short, do I have to leave the programs on to maintain overclocking speed?

Thanks

Yeah, thanks Joey. I know that already, since that's what I might have to do if I have to leave this darn program on all the time.
