Yea I tried increasing the voltage for the CPU bit by bit, i didnt want to go over 1.5v as I dont have another £100 spare. I found with the more voltage I added, the harder it crashed and Blue Screens of Death was more likely. So I gave up lol

To be honest, the heat is not really the prob at this time, it max's out at 58C on CPUID's HW monitor. I think I just have cheap hardware.

The motherboard is your limiting factor yes. Honestly though, I wouldn't attempt any overclock unless you have a better motherboard, but that's just me.. A 200mhz increase won't give you much of an improvement and it's not really worth it.

True, but it was a learning experience. I think a new motherboard and some more heat compound will be next on my shopping list.

I hear Asus are good Motherboard manufacturers.

Asus is ok.. I generally prefer Gigabyte or eVGA
