Well, a heatsink made of copper is certainly a plus, although sometimes a fan is not really necessary, sometimes just increasing the heatsink size will make a big difference

i'll have a look around, but i'll need a tall one, the airflow in that area is about 1 or 2 cm abovve the nb hs

Well, what you can try, is take some screws, and see if they fit into the fins, sometimes the screws are thick enough and they will fit perfectly in-between the fins, after it's just a matter of screwing a fan into them

Only problem I can see though is that there's no 2pin or 3pin plug for a fan near the NB, so you'll have to wire it awkwardly probably

Oh, then you got lucky, is it a 2pin or 3pin? 3pin will make it easy to find a compatible fan, though I think if it's 2 pin you might have a few problem. However, if you have an old video card laying around that you're never going to use again, it might have a 2 pin fan you can grab off of it and maybe drill holes into the structure around it and screw it in.

its a 3 pin, so i shouldnt hav a problem, and even if it wasnt, i have the fan mate lying around from my vf900 so i could use that to extend the vables
