eh... i dont want to risk messing it up. for now i will keep the 630 P4. It works pretty good with HT on. anyway, back to the problem, your only option is probably to update the BIOS. Or just use a cpu wiht a slower FSB

just cos im constantly thinking and stuff, its a bios update thats needed as the p4 are all 'pumped' buses of 100mhz then its most likely that the bios doesnt have the correct multiplier for the cpu which is 25.
but hey robotriot give us a reply back and we can sort this

actually the faster P4s are 200Mhz quad pumped (to equal 800mhz) and this is probably what he has.

nah if its a 2.53 p4 he has its a 533 fsb compared to the previous one's 400 but hey we gotta wait on the guys reply
