Overclocking - Oveclocking SLOT 1 CPUs posted in the Hardware forums; hey all, is it possible to overclock slot 1 cpus (P2,P3,CELERON) not in the bios something like a windows utility?? hopefully someone can give me an answer this time.. Cheers...

hey all,
is it possible to overclock slot 1 cpus (P2,P3,CELERON)
not in the bios something like a windows utility??

Hi Souluna,

Not sure why you would want to overclock a SLOT1 cpu...

Overclocking in windows was never really supported with such older motherboards either Perhaps one of the other techs will have a better answer for you.
