Yeah.Igotanew motherboard andCPU. Currently, I have my AMD Athlon XP (T-Bred A) 1500+ running at 1.33Ghz.(100mhz (DDR) FSB) I have my DDR333 capableRAM running at DDR266 (133mhz). When i update the BIOS, it will allow me to run the
RAM at 333 (166) but only with the FSB at 266 (133), which meansmy
CPU will run about 1.73Ghz. It currently runs about 120 degrees F at Idle and about 135 under full load. is that a safe speed to run it at? I want to squeeze every bit of performance i can out of it, but not if it means comprimising my only working XP. I have a 2200+but i cant getit to work, all i get is a blank screen. no POST. So what do you think? I would like to run my
RAM as fast as safe. But i dont know how my
CPU will handle it. please help. the motherboard in question is in my 'My PC' thing. Also, my
RAM is running at 2.5T CAS and on normal timings.
