whenever i use the BIOS to overclock the FSB from 133 to 140, and i use a program that takes the CPU usage to 100%, it restarts the system. I cant figure out why, as the Heatsync and fan came off a Athlon XP 1.33ghz. It worked when i still had a P3 600EB, but now it wont. And i would think i would be able to take it to 975mhz (150mhz FSB) but again, then windows wont even load. Please help!

To be perfectly honest AW33 I'm not one of Overclocking's greatest fans. It can kill a system outright trying to squeeze the last drop out of it.
Perhaps one the other members can be of more help, sorry.

thanks, im not trying to overclock it totally out of proportion, just to 910 or 975. Because its a P3 the CPU multiplier is locked, so i can only change the FSB. The coppermine cores are supposed to be great overclockers too. i wonder whats wrong.
