all the temps in the bios are under 40???? when i run speedfan it shows
temp1:33c- with either a green tick or blue arrow pointing down.
temp2:32c- with either a green tick or blue arrow pointing down
temp3:65c- with a flame next to it!!!
hdd1:with either a green tick.........etc etc.

i find it odd because i have 2 hard drives and it only reads one???
i just cant identifiy what temp 3 is refering to. any ideas?

No, like I said..spurious. If a setting is wrong in the speedfan prog then it could be giving a wrong reading. Go with the temps in the bios and relax

Check all of your fans are spinning and re-check the HSF compound is doing it's job, which from the temps it seems it is

From what I have tried, it's impossible to overclock a celeron. They lock them so you can't, and I wouldn't want to either. Celeron's suck, go with Pentium 4 or D if you want better performance.
