with all due repect to yourself Hengis....still no one has answered my question about the temps....i need to know as i cant find it on my bios screen.....i cant solve the problem if i dont know where it is, is there and app that i can obtain that will tell me where each tempuature is being read from?

ok thanks...i was just reading a [fixed] thread in the processor/cpu section about an overheating chip on temp 3 that was 65c and above....and you gave the advice of maybe investing in a new heatsink fan....i have a chassi fan and intel heatsink (the same as the one stated on the other thread) would they be adequate for my new motherboard? my old mobo was a p4xfcu...and it only showed up 2 temp readings and 2 hdd readings that were all fine. im a little confused....i have applied thermal compound inbetween my processor and heat sink but still no joy....am i doing somthing wrong?
