very interesting...

i'm setting up a pc with an athlon 64 3400 with 1600 FSP.

i'm not sure how many "pipelines it has" (i'm guessing 8 according to the article so it runs at 200 mhz externally or whatever)

what does 3400 mean if it typically runs at 2.4 ghz? is that an overclock speed?

edit: and just because the specs of my mobo say that the RAM supported is DDR400 doesn't mean i can't go faster in case i overclock, does it?
