Default overclosking a sempron

I have recently aquired a new mobo and CPU, the specifics are a Sempron 2300+ clocking in at 1.53GHz and the mobo is an ASUS A7S8X-MX, the BIOS settings are non existant for Overclocking, and from what i can see, the only way to get any extra performance out of it is to switch a jumper, the only jumper i can see is the FSB, i remember changing the FSB a short while ago and it gave no effect, what am I missing, or is this board a complete waste of time?

Hey spellbyte,
Is the board the micro ATX version or ATX version. If it is the ATX version there is a BIOS flash that will let you raise the FSB from inside the BIOS.
If its the micro ATX, you can move the jumper and use a program like CPUID to overclock it to at least 2ghz

I'm judging that by the size of it that it's the micro ATX, which jumper should i move and to what setting?

I have been doing a bit of reading up on this and have found this:

http://fab51.com/cpu/barton/athlon-e24.html#L5

it's the first step to changing the multiplier on a sempron which is essentially an athlon at the Tbred core. basically what i want to do is raise the multiplier, as my basic mobo cant do this in the BIOS, and especially as the sempron is locked anyway, is this the only way to unlock the multiplier. and mnore importantly is this the right way of doing it?
