don't listen to him, 550/1000 is NOT sure to blow up the card, it really depends on your cooling though, in the nview thingy you should see the temps, if your temp is usually <40C then go up to 580/1100, mine is 555/1070

 Hi Hoohhah,

Welcome to PCHF, and thanks for trying to help, but it is important to check the last dates of a thread. This one hasn't been active since 12/18/05, this person is probably not looking for information any longer. However, overclocking will always shorten the life of a card, regardless of your cooling, which is all Tux expressed to this user. We usually do not tell other users "not to listen to him", if you have a difference of opinion, express it as that, a difference of opinion.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums.

TTFN

LGW

now you can right click on your desktop and click on properties then settings/advanced now you will have a slider bar there. Move it slowly starting with the core, then the memory untill you see little white dots on your screen. then move it back a little bit and there ya go.
i dl'ed this and put into my registry. when to the desktop properties setting/advanced and i don't see the slider bar u speak of. is this outdated? thanks
