Try re-flashing the BIOS, solved my problem once-with an ASUS Mainboard...but, from your posts, and the "..I believe..." I'd recommend letting somebody else do it for you..OR read the manual: ASUS has a feature to restore BIOS if corrupt

I must agree. MY ASUS motherboard came with a corrupt BIOS. Mine was giving me overclocking messages and fan failures. A simple Flash solved my problems.
