Default [Answered] Overclock All-In-One Hardware?

Hey, I have a Gateway All-In-One Profile 4 or 3 (not sure as my Dad's friend sold it to us) and I have absolutely no clue how to open the case to manually set jumpers for different clock speeds (it'd probably fall apart after that anyway). Does anybody know about BIOS on it? Thanks in advance!

Hey there gmsdrmmrboi

These links may help you with opening the case:

How do I remove and replace the hard drive in the Profile 1.5 computer?:
http://support.gateway.com/s/Profile...0537faq3.shtml

How to remove rear cover on profile 4 computer:
http://support.gateway.com/s/Profile...291faq24.shtml

That gateway support site seems really good and has a lot of information about the "profile" machines.

Gateway User Guides for Profile 1.5 - 5.0:
http://support.gateway.com/support/m.../profile.shtml

They contain information about the BIOS utility.

Hope this helps

Yeah, this helps a ton, thanks a lot (I also did some research @ the pcworld article on overclocking).

Hey gmsdrmmrboi,

That's great, sounds like your question is answered. However feel free to post again if that isn't the case.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums.
