Before you overclock you CPU i sugest you read the risks that comes with overclocking you hardware. :-) It can seriously damage hardware if done incorectly

Well, there are multiple ways to do it, but before you do, know this.

You need the hardware in order to overclock. A big a$$ heatsink, a good, stable MoBo, and a large power supply will need to be had prior to any attempt at overclocking.

ALSO. all CPU's have limits. dont worry, if you go past those limits a little bit, itll crash, and then you reset and tone it down. If you go too hard, too fast you'll have a well-done, crispy, CPU on your hands in no time.

there is so much that goes into this, what will all the HT multipliers, the base frequency of the CPU, ect., but despite my better judgment, here is how you do it.

When you start your computer hit delete until a big blue screen comes up.

then youll be at your own mercy not to kill it. There are countless tutorials on this around the net, so although you may not like to hear it: this was a lazy question, that is really a pain in the neck to explain all the way. Just look around the net. I belive MaximumPC has a tutorial on it.
