Default Remote desktop to mac osx

Hey people,
i have a question for you.
i have a macbook and a windows vista computer.
I am looking for a way to connect to my mac osx leopard 10.5.5 computer via windows vista home edition. I am unable to succeed in doing this. I have tried using vine server but when i try connecting to it from VNC viewer it does not allow me too and says cannot connect. Any other programs?? I feel like this might just be a vnc problem. i already opened all the ports on my macbook..

Hello Zero and welcome back to the forum.

Vista is proberly the issue. It takes a little extra setup in Vista to get a network setup.

Hey Zero,

When I saw this thread title I thought of VNC, however as you said it might just be a problem with the setup. I think there might already be a vnc server built into Leopard.

Try these links and see if they help you:

ah the problem is solved. it occurs when my vista was connected directly to the internet and than when the macbook was connected wirelessly, this interfered with it for some odd reason. There is a more serious issue with my macbook now :sigh: so uhhh ill post another topic. Thanks for your help.
