Whenever I try to enter Standby mode, all that happens is a screen comes up saying "preparing to enter Standby mode" or something to that effect, and just stays there.
Any ideas?

Hi, have u tinkled with your power options or not? (open ur Control Panel then Power Options. is "Standby" activated?

Yeah, I've been through the power options... standby and hibernate are on... I've even tried making a shortcut and running it that way, but it still won't work.

Well u know how diagnosing pcs can take a lifetime.Please enable "view hidden Files" and then get a list of all the files hidden on you OS drive.Then post it....Waiting...
To be more specific I just want a list of the hidden files on the actual partition not in any other folders or sub-folders there... so C:*.* only (No WINDOWS or other Folders) Last edited by karla; 10-13-2008 at 11:22 AM. |
