JB, I thought to try to bootup Solaris on my laptop and it worked.
That tells me that the CD is good and that I probably have a bad CD data cable.
Well, I'll get a new cable next week since a cable is cheaper than a new CD drive.
I'll let you know, if the new cable fixes the problem.

JB, I've given up on Solaris.
After all, I just wanted a free operating system so I've gone with Ubuntu.
It's going to be a learning curve, but what the heck.
I've still got Vista on my laptop.

I've noticed that DriverAgent doesn't work with Ubuntu.
So now I'm try to find a program that will do what DriverAgent does and work with Ubuntu.

Any ideas?

Solaris gets binned?
