I have the job of helping at the recreation center. We have a lot of computers giving to us from the city. My job is to up grade or see how they run.I have came upon some windows 2000's, and some windows XP's. Problem is that the Operating systems to be download to the computers are brand new, and in the jacket with no numbers on it.Is it possible to get the number off the CD.

No, the Product key is not on the CD, it is on the COA (Certificate of Authenticity). Check on the computers for the COA. If you don't have one, you will need to contact Microsoft to get a product key for this Operating System to be legal.

Run this on each computer it will give you there key.
