Other OS - Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Hardy Heron posted in the Operating Systems forums; I have bit of a problem. This is the problem. It is really annoying me. Any ideas. Cheers....

I have bit of a problem.

This happens sometimes when a program cannot be configured for some reason. It wants you to do this to fix it:-
Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal


then type


sudo dpkg --configure -a

As a bit of explanation:

sudo in front of the command it asks you to run will run it as a superuser - who has lots of priveleges. If you see any errors in future and it gives a command, open up terminal and run the command
