Other OS - Dos disk format sticks at 77% posted in the Operating Systems forums; I am formatting a drive in dos, it keeps stopping at 77%, leave it overnight and its at 77% in the morning...

Default Dos disk format sticks at 77%
I am formatting a drive in dos, it keeps stopping at 77%, leave it overnight and its at 77% in the morning

If the hardrive has been partitioned and the format stops indicates bad blocks or sectors on the hard drive. Yep it's stuffed
